The Ministry of Health announced new rules that will be applied in the country

The Ministry of Health decided to implement additional warning decisions in line with the decisions of the Supreme Committee for Infectious Diseases under the Infectious Diseases Law.

Accordingly, people who will cross from southern Cyprus to the north and reside in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for more than 3 days will remain in quarantine for a period of 7 days. An exception will be made for people who pass by for work, education and health reasons.

Those who wish to enter the country from Group B countries and stay on the island for a maximum of 3 days will be able to enter the country without quarantine, provided that they present negative PCR test results upon arrival and wait at the hotel until the second PCR test results are obtained.

Birth and funeral ceremonies were allowed under the rules of the epidemic after October 19, 2020.

Weddings and engagement parties are permitted after October 19, 2020 under the rules to be followed.

The decision to open the cinema, theater, exhibition, birthdays and festivals events has been postponed until November 1, 2020.
